According to the reported details, the shooting happened at approximately 8:25 a.m. in the 7900 block of South Lafayette Avenue. Kurt was reportedly walking outside when a person exited a silver Honda sedan and opened fire, striking him multiple times.<\/p>\n

He was transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition, where medical personnel worked to save his life. Sadly, he later succumbed to his injuries.<\/p>\n
