According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 8:28 p.m. in Hubbard Township, Trumbull County. Kriebel was operating a 2005 Saab 9-3 that had stopped on the right shoulder of the eastbound lanes. Officials said he was outside his vehicle in the right lane when he was struck by a 2021 Freightliner Cascadia semi-truck and trailer traveling eastbound.<\/p>\n
