The world is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Camere Breaux, 19, of St. Martinville, Louisiana, following a devastating crash involving Larry Hamilton Jr., 22, of Broussard, who was arrested in connection with the fatal collision. In the early morning hours of September 5, 2026, a moment that began like any ordinary journey ended in unimaginable heartbreak, leaving a young life forever silenced.<\/p>\n
Camere was a passenger in a Chevrolet Impala traveling in Lafayette when it was struck at the intersection of La Rue France and W. Pinhook Road. Authorities said the crash occurred after Hamilton, who was driving a Ford F-150 while fleeing law enforcement, ran a red traffic light and collided with the Impala.<\/p>\n
Tragically, Camere suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Two others inside the Impala were seriously injured and taken to a hospital in critical condition, while a passenger in the Ford was also hospitalized.<\/p>\n
