Jaquincia was identified after her body was discovered Tuesday along a riverbank in rural Vermilion County, several miles from the location where an unoccupied vehicle had been found stranded in a flooded ditch. Authorities responded to the area near Fithian after receiving reports of the vehicle, which had sustained water damage, and began searching the surrounding area.<\/p>\n

The search eventually led investigators to Jaquincia\u2019s body near the riverbank. An autopsy was scheduled as authorities continue working to determine the circumstances and cause of her death. Illinois State Police remain involved in the investigation, and additional information is expected as their work continues.<\/p>\n
