His heartbreaking passing has left his family, friends, and especially his son facing an unimaginable loss.<\/p>\n<p>David will be remembered not simply as a victim of a tragic incident, but as a beloved father, friend, and family member whose life mattered deeply to the people around him. The suddenness of his death has created a painful void that words cannot fully describe. Those who knew and loved him are now left holding onto cherished memories while trying to navigate the difficult days ahead.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities say the driver accused in the fatal hit-and-run was an off-duty Duncan Police officer. The officer was arrested and faces charges of second-degree murder and leaving the scene of a crash. As the investigation and legal proceedings continue, David\u2019s loved ones remain focused on honoring his memory and supporting his son.<\/p>\n<p>Friends have also come together to help David\u2019s family with burial expenses, celebration-of-life costs, and other final arrangements. Any remaining funds after those expenses are covered will go directly to his son.<\/p>\n<p>During this painful time, may David\u2019s family find comfort in the memories they shared with him and in knowing that his life touched others.
