Daniel Vance, 37, of Sardinia, Ohio,<\/strong> is being remembered with heavy hearts after his life was tragically cut short in a devastating four-vehicle crash on State Route 138 in Highland County. For those who knew Daniel, this is more than the story of a terrible collision\u2014it is the heartbreaking loss of a person whose presence, memories, and place in the lives of others can never simply be replaced.<\/p>\nDaniel’s life came to an unexpected end Sunday evening following the serious crash, leaving family, friends, and others who knew him facing a painful reality no loved one is ever prepared to accept. According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the collision happened at approximately 8:49 p.m. as several vehicles were traveling along State Route 138.<\/p>\n
Preliminary investigators said Daniel was driving a 1973 Plymouth Duster when it crossed the center line and struck two vehicles traveling in the opposite direction. A 2019 Ford Ranger was also involved and subsequently collided with a 2004 Dodge Dakota. A 2008 Chevrolet Colorado was among the vehicles involved as well.<\/p>\n
Daniel was pronounced dead at the scene. Two others, including a teenage driver, suffered minor injuries and received medical treatment.<\/p>\n
While the investigation continues, the deepest thoughts remain with Daniel’s loved ones, who are now left carrying memories where they once expected to have more moments together.<\/p>\n
