According to police, Antonio was walking toward Cass Street shortly after 6:45 a.m. when he was struck by a vehicle. He declined medical assistance, and the driver took him back to his apartment on Jerome Avenue. Later, Antonio briefly left again, walking to a nearby supermarket before returning home. Hours passed, and by that evening, he was found unresponsive inside his apartment with a significant head injury. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
