With hearts shattered beyond words, we mourn the heartbreaking loss of Leslie, a loving father, devoted family man, and kind-hearted soul whose life was tragically cut short following a devastating traffic crash in Rockhampton.
On August 28, Leslie was riding his bicycle with his young son when they were involved in a serious collision at the intersection of Kent Street and Cambridge Street. Leslie suffered catastrophic injuries and was rushed to Rockhampton Hospital, where he fought bravely for his life. Sadly, on August 30, his injuries proved too severe, and Leslie passed away, leaving behind a family struggling to understand a world without him.
Leslie was the kind of person who could bring laughter even on the darkest days. His warm heart, humor, strength, and presence touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him. He had already endured the unimaginable loss of his eldest son nearly five years ago, yet he continued to find strength for his children and those around him.
Now, his family faces another devastating goodbye while praying for the recovery of his young son, who remains seriously injured in hospital.
Leslie’s absence will leave a silence that can never truly be filled. His memories, laughter, love, and kindness will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
