In the early morning hours of Saturday, September 12, 2026, a tragedy unfolded along U.S. Highway 165 at Dellwood Drive in Monroe. Tania was walking across the northbound lanes when she was struck by a vehicle. Despite the efforts that followed, her injuries were fatal, and she sadly passed away at the scene.
At just 22 years old, Tania had so much life still waiting for her—dreams yet to be fulfilled, memories yet to be made, and countless tomorrows that will now never come. A life that should have continued for many more years was suddenly and painfully taken away.
Today, we remember Tania not simply by the heartbreaking circumstances of her passing, but by the life she lived and the place she held in the hearts of those who knew her. Though her journey on earth has ended, the memories she left behind will continue to live on.
