A Life Taken Too Soon, A Love That Will Never Fade.

Some nights change a family’s life forever. Saturday night was one of those heartbreaking nights for the Stoddard family, when a devastating motorcycle crash in Jasper County claimed the life of 37-year-old Bradley “Brad” Stoddard of Pineland, Texas, leaving behind a silence that words can never truly fill.

Brad was riding alongside his beloved wife, 37-year-old Margaret Stoddard, when tragedy struck on Highway 96 in Brookeland at approximately 11:25 p.m. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, their motorcycle was traveling north near the Black Sheep Saloon when it collided with a Ram 3500 pickup truck that had pulled from a parking lot and allegedly failed to yield.

Brad was killed at the scene.

In a single devastating moment, Margaret lost her husband, her companion, and the person with whom she was sharing the journey of life. Yet while her heart carries the unimaginable pain of losing Brad, Margaret is also fighting for her own life. She was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and remains in the ICU, facing a difficult road toward recovery.

Brad’s passing leaves behind more than a tragic memory. It leaves behind a love story interrupted far too soon, dreams left unfinished, and countless moments that will now be treasured as precious memories. His smile, his laughter, his kindness, and the love he gave to those around him will forever remain in the hearts of everyone who knew him.

As family and friends grieve this heartbreaking loss, they are also standing beside Margaret as she fights to heal. The burden of funeral expenses and overwhelming medical costs has added another layer of hardship during an already unbearable time.

If you are able to help, any donation or act of kindness can make a meaningful difference for Margaret and her family.

May Brad’s memory forever be a blessing. May the love he shared with Margaret continue to surround her with strength during the darkest days ahead. And may everyone who knew and loved Brad keep his memory alive—not only through tears, but through the beautiful moments and memories he left behind.

Rest peacefully, Brad. You were loved, you are missed, and you will never be forgotten. 🕊️💔
