In Loving Memory of Ronnie D. Waddel and Jenella A. Walls, Tragic Trike Motorcycle Crash Claims Two Lives.
The Prince George County community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Ronnie D. Waddel, 79, of Chester, and Jenella A. Walls, 79, of Charles City, who both died following a tragic trike motorcycle crash on August 15, 2026. The two were traveling together when the devastating incident occurred along the 6600 block of Prince George Drive.
At approximately 11:30 a.m., Prince George County Police officers responded to the area after receiving reports of a single-vehicle crash involving a trike motorcycle. When officers arrived, they found the motorcycle had left the roadway, leaving both occupants with life-threatening injuries.
Prince George Fire and EMS personnel immediately provided emergency medical treatment at the scene before transporting Waddel and Walls by ambulance to Southside Regional Medical Center. Despite the efforts of first responders and medical professionals, both victims were pronounced dead after arriving at the hospital.
According to the preliminary investigation, the trike motorcycle was traveling southbound on Prince George Drive when it veered off the right side of the roadway. The motorcycle then overturned multiple times, ejecting both riders. Authorities said both occupants were wearing DOT-approved helmets at the time of the crash.
Investigators are still working to determine exactly what caused the motorcycle to leave the roadway. It remains unclear whether another vehicle may have been involved.
As the investigation continues, family members, friends, and loved ones are left grieving two lives lost far too suddenly. Ronnie and Jenella will be remembered by those who knew them, and their passing is a painful reminder of how quickly an ordinary journey can turn into tragedy.
