In Loving Memory of the Mill Creek Victims, Forever Remembered, Forever Missed.
With heavy hearts and profound sadness, family, friends, and loved ones are mourning the tragic loss of KhiFendi, Tayla Shae, and two other victims who lost their lives after a vehicle crashed into Mill Creek in Cincinnati on Saturday evening, August 15, 2026.
According to the Cincinnati Fire Department, emergency responders were called shortly before 6 p.m. after reports of a vehicle submerged in Mill Creek. When rescuers arrived, they discovered the vehicle overturned in the water, with multiple people trapped inside. Despite the determined efforts of firefighters and heavy rescue crews, four people sadly could not be saved. One surviving victim was taken to a hospital with what officials described as minor injuries.
For everyone who knew and loved the victims, this heartbreaking tragedy is difficult to comprehend. Their lives were filled with relationships, memories, laughter, hopes, and moments that will forever remain precious to those left behind.
A touching tribute shared in the aftermath expressed the deep sense of disbelief and heartbreak: “Khiellll it use be just us Tayla Shae💔.” Those words speak to the painful reality of losing someone who was recently present and creating memories with loved ones.
