Olive H. Wesley, 61, of Rochester, New York, has left behind a heartbreaking silence after her life was tragically cut short in a devastating early-morning crash on the New York State Thruway.
According to authorities, the tragedy happened around 2:30 a.m. Friday, September 4, in the town of Newstead. Olive was driving a 2012 Chevrolet pickup that had become disabled on the right shoulder of Interstate 90 when a westbound 2018 Volvo tractor-trailer struck the vehicle. Despite the efforts at the scene, Olive was pronounced dead.
Behind the heartbreaking headlines was a woman with a life, memories, moments, and people who loved her. She was more than a name in a news report. She was someone’s family, someone’s friend, someone whose presence mattered and whose absence will now be deeply felt.
