The community of Payne, Ohio, is mourning the heartbreaking loss of 19-year-old Kaci Rae Sentelik, whose life was tragically cut short following a two-vehicle crash in Van Wert County on August 21, 2026. Kaci’s sudden passing has left her family, friends, and everyone who knew her facing an unimaginable loss.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 9:04 a.m. at the intersection of U.S. 30 and State Route 49 in Tully Township. Kaci was driving a 2010 Toyota Corolla southbound on State Route 49 when her vehicle was struck on the driver’s side by a 2006 Western Star 4900 traveling westbound on U.S. 30. Despite the response of emergency personnel, Kaci suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
