A Life Taken Far Too Soon, Remembering “Tinka” With Love.

There are moments when the heart struggles to accept what the mind already knows. Today, we remember “Tinka,” a 27-year-old woman whose life came to a heartbreaking end following a shooting in Freemansburg, Pennsylvania. Her passing has left behind a painful emptiness for those who knew and loved her, as a young life filled with possibilities was suddenly and tragically taken away.

According to authorities, Freemansburg Borough Police responded to a residence in the 20 block of Market Street after a 911 call was received. Officers reportedly discovered two people suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to St. Luke’s Fountain Hill for medical care, but despite efforts to save her, Tinka was pronounced deceased at approximately 7:16 a.m.

For the people closest to Tinka, her story is much greater than the circumstances surrounding her death. She was a daughter, friend, loved one, and a young woman who had experiences, relationships, hopes, and dreams that made her life uniquely her own.
