Two Lives, Forever Remembered, Alyshia Rushing and Landon Dunn Lost in Heartbreaking Alabama Crash.

Alyshia Rushing, 26, a beloved mother of four known online as “Mama A,” and Landon Dunn, 20, a young U.S. Marine remembered for his kind heart, were taken from their families and loved ones far too soon in a devastating head-on collision on Interstate 85 in Montgomery, Alabama. Their sudden deaths have left behind a motherless family, a grieving military community, and countless people struggling to comprehend the heartbreaking loss of two lives filled with promise, love, and dreams for the future.

Rushing was known to hundreds of thousands of followers on TikTok, where she shared glimpses of her life and experiences as a mother. Behind her online presence was a woman deeply loved by her four children, Karter, Raelynn, Zoey, and Aydan. Her family now faces the unimaginable pain of continuing forward without the woman described as their mother, caregiver, provider, safe place, and greatest source of love.

Dunn, only 20, was serving in the U.S. Marine Corps and was remembered by a fellow Marine as a person with “one of the purest hearts” he had known. Friends and fellow service members are mourning a young man whose life was filled with potential and whose future was tragically cut short.

Montgomery police said officers were dispatched at approximately 2:15 a.m. Saturday to a report of a two-vehicle crash on southbound Interstate 85. Rushing was driving a 2013 Kia Sorento, while Dunn was driving a 2015 Toyota Tacoma. Both died at the scene. A female passenger traveling with Rushing was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation, but for the families of Alyshia and Landon, the investigation cannot ease the emptiness their deaths have created.

As loved ones grieve, their memories remain a source of comfort. Alyshia’s children will carry the love their mother gave them, while Landon’s family, friends, and fellow Marines will remember the young man whose kindness touched those around him.

May Alyshia Rushing and Landon Dunn rest in eternal peace. Their lives were far too short, but their memories will live on in the hearts of everyone who loved them.
