Cordaro Ryan Stock, A Life Remembered With Love and Sorrow.
In loving memory of Cordaro Ryan Stock, 34, of Toledo, Oregon, whose life was tragically taken in a heartbreaking crash on Highway 20 in Lincoln County. His passing has left family, friends, and loved ones facing a loss that words can hardly express.
On the night of Wednesday, August 26, tragedy unfolded near milepost 10 on Highway 20. Oregon State Police responded to a vehicle-versus-pedestrian crash after a westbound 1996 Acura Integra struck what the driver initially believed was a deer. The vehicle continued toward Newport before someone at a business learned that a person may have been involved and immediately contacted 911.
Toledo Police later discovered Cordaro deceased in a ditch near the highway. His identity was confirmed, bringing devastating clarity to a night that had already left many searching for answers.
Cordaro was only 34 years old—a life still filled with possibilities, memories yet to be made, and moments that his loved ones will now have to carry in their hearts. No family should have to receive news that someone they love will never come home again.
As investigators continue working to understand exactly what happened, those who knew Cordaro are left to grieve and remember the person behind the name—a son, friend, loved one, and cherished member of his community.
May Cordaro Ryan Stock rest peacefully. May his family and friends find strength during this unimaginable time, and may the memories he created continue to live on in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him.
Rest in peace, Cordaro. You will be remembered.
