Dana was traveling northbound on Jackrabbit Lane when an SUV traveling eastbound on Durston Road struck him as the vehicles crossed the intersection. He was transported to Bozeman Health Deaconess Regional Medical Center, where, despite efforts to save him, he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
