In loving memory of Arianna Perez, a 19-year-old young woman whose life was tragically cut short in a heartbreaking crash near Shaver Lake, California. She was still so young, with so much of life ahead of her, so many dreams waiting to unfold, and countless moments yet to be lived. In an instant, everything changed, leaving behind a silence that words can never truly fill.
On Friday, September 11, a devastating solo-vehicle crash occurred along Highway 168 between Shaver Lake and Cressman’s near Littlefield Road. The vehicle left the roadway and traveled down an embankment. Arianna, who was riding as a backseat passenger, was ejected and sadly succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
The news of her passing is a painful reminder of how fragile life can be. One moment can hold laughter, conversation, plans, and promises; the next can leave a family facing an unimaginable goodbye. Arianna deserved many more birthdays, more sunsets, more embraces, more memories, and more tomorrows.
