The Albertville community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Starsky Dewayne Davis, 50, and Hunter Moore, 27, who were tragically killed by gunshot wounds on Sunday, August 30, 2026. Their lives came to an unexpected end in the 1400 block of Oneonta Cut-off Road, leaving behind pain, unanswered questions, and loved ones struggling to understand how two lives filled with memories, dreams, and possibilities could be gone in an instant.
According to the Marshall County Coroner’s Office, officials responded to the scene at approximately 6:00 a.m. after reports involving two male victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Starsky and Hunter were both pronounced dead at the scene. Another man was seriously injured and airlifted to Huntsville Hospital for treatment.
Behind every name is a human being whose life mattered. Starsky Dewayne Davis was more than a name on a report, and Hunter Moore was more than a headline. They were sons, brothers, friends, relatives, and cherished parts of someone’s world.
