The Federalsburg community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Duilio Berduo-Morales, 19, who tragically lost his life Saturday night following a devastating motorcycle crash near Preston, Maryland. According to the information released by Maryland State Police, Duilio was traveling southbound on Route 331 near Linchester Road, just southeast of Preston, at approximately 9:12 p.m. when he lost control of his Harley-Davidson motorcycle. The motorcycle went down on the roadway before Duilio was struck by an SUV.
Emergency crews responded to the scene, where first responders found a critically injured patient. Despite the efforts of those who arrived to help, Duilio was pronounced dead at the scene. Aviation assistance was ultimately not utilized, and authorities confirmed that no other injuries were reported.
