In Loving Memory of Randall Kriebel, A Life Remembered After a Tragic Hubbard Township Crash.

 

The Hubbard community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Randall Kriebel, 65, of Hubbard, Ohio, who tragically lost his life in a fatal crash on Interstate 80 on Thursday evening, August 13, 2026. His sudden passing has left family, friends, neighbors, and others who knew him facing a profound and painful loss.

 

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 8:28 p.m. in Hubbard Township, Trumbull County. Kriebel was operating a 2005 Saab 9-3 that had stopped on the right shoulder of the eastbound lanes. Officials said he was outside his vehicle in the right lane when he was struck by a 2021 Freightliner Cascadia semi-truck and trailer traveling eastbound.

 

Despite the efforts of emergency responders, Kriebel was pronounced deceased at the scene. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Warren Post.
