At approximately 6:58 p.m., deputies responded to the 7000 east block of State Road 104 after a vehicle had left the roadway. According to the initial investigation, Irene was traveling eastbound in a blue 2017 Chevrolet when, for reasons still unknown, the vehicle departed the road and struck a tree. Despite the tragedy that unfolded, Irene could not be saved and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
