A Young Life Gone Too Soon, Forever Remembered.
Some losses are impossible to put into words. They arrive suddenly, leaving behind a silence that feels far too heavy and a sadness that lingers long after the moment has passed. At just 24 years old, Isaac Self of Tennessee was taken from this world far too soon, leaving behind a life that still held so many unwritten chapters.
According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Isaac was traveling north on Highway 360 near Bill Moser Road in Monroe County on Wednesday when tragedy struck. At approximately 11:28, his truck left the roadway, crossed the grassy shoulder, and struck a tree before traveling down an embankment and coming to rest on its left side in a nearby body of water.
Behind the heartbreaking details of the crash was a young man whose story deserved so much more time. Twenty-four years is far too short for a life filled with hopes, dreams, plans, and possibilities to come to an end.
Isaac’s passing is a painful reminder of how fragile life can be and how quickly an ordinary day can become a moment forever remembered with tears. Though his journey ended unexpectedly, the memory of his life will not disappear.
