Rosemary was traveling northbound on Johnny Run Road when her vehicle failed to stop at the marked intersection of Johnny Run and Gardner Blacktop. Her vehicle was struck by an eastbound vehicle within the intersection.

    Following the collision, Rosemary’s vehicle continued into the northeast yard, where it struck the corner of a nearby home. Despite the tragic circumstances, she could not be saved. Coroner Callahan pronounced Rosemary deceased at the scene at approximately 9:40 a.m.

    As investigators continue working to understand exactly what happened, the Grundy County Sheriff’s Department is handling the crash investigation, while the coroner’s office continues its own inquiry.
