The Jersey City community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Glenn Minasian, 58, of Jersey City, New Jersey, whose life was tragically cut short in a fatal pedestrian crash on Thursday, September 10, 2026.
Shortly after 5 a.m., authorities responded to Routes 1 and 9 near Duncan Avenue after Glenn was struck by a vehicle. Despite the efforts that followed, he suffered serious injuries and was transported to Jersey City Medical Center, where he was later pronounced deceased. The striking vehicle remained at the scene as investigators began working to understand the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
