In Loving Memory of Nancy Ann Beck, A Life Remembered After a Tragic Motorcycle Crash.
With profound sadness, we remember 81-year-old Nancy Ann Beck of Dandridge, Tennessee, who tragically lost her life following a motorcycle crash on Highway 60 in Lincoln Township, between Lake Crystal and Madelia. Nancy was riding a 2023 Harley-Davidson FLH when the fatal collision occurred Tuesday morning at approximately 9:54 a.m.
According to information from the Minnesota State Patrol, Nancy was traveling westbound on Highway 60 when the crash involving two motorcycles occurred. Another rider, 63-year-old Joyce Lynn Oliphant of Plano, Texas, was traveling behind Nancy on a 2026 Harley-Davidson FLH. Joyce survived the crash without serious injuries. Both women were reportedly wearing helmets at the time.
Nancy’s passing is a heartbreaking reminder of how quickly an ordinary journey can become a devastating moment for families and loved ones. At 81, she had lived a life filled with memories, experiences, relationships, and moments that will forever remain precious to those who knew her.
Emergency responders from Blue Earth County, Lake Crystal Police Department, Lake Crystal Fire Department, and the Minnesota State Patrol responded to the scene, working to provide assistance and manage the tragic aftermath.
