Firefighter Eric Phillips, Forever a Hero in Our Hearts .πŸ•ŠοΈπŸš’

With profound sadness and broken hearts, we remember Firefighter Eric Phillips, 44, whose life was suddenly and unexpectedly taken on September 4, 2026, following a medical emergency while responding to a call for service. His passing leaves behind a silence that words can never truly fill.

For approximately five years, Eric proudly served with the Raymond Fire Department, answering the call whenever others needed help. He was more than a firefighter. He was a colleague, a friend, a public servant, and a courageous soul who dedicated himself to protecting and serving his community.

After suffering the medical emergency, Eric was transported to Exeter Hospital, where fellow first responders and medical personnel fought to save his life. Sadly, despite their efforts, he passed away. A life devoted to helping others came to an unimaginable end while he was doing what he had chosen to doβ€”serve.

Today, the firehouse mourns. His fellow firefighters grieve. His friends and loved ones are left carrying memories that will forever be both precious and painful.

Eric’s uniform may now be laid down, but the legacy he created through courage, compassion, and service will never disappear. The calls he answered, the lives he touched, and the kindness he shared will remain woven into the hearts of those who knew him.

May his family, friends, fellow firefighters, and the entire Raymond community find strength in one another during this heartbreaking time.

Rest peacefully, Firefighter Eric Phillips.
Your watch may be over, but your light will never fade.
Gone from sight, but never from our hearts. πŸ•ŠοΈπŸš’πŸ’™
