Camere Breaux, Gone Far Too Soon. 🕊️💔
The world is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Camere Breaux, 19, of St. Martinville, Louisiana, following a devastating crash involving Larry Hamilton Jr., 22, of Broussard, who was arrested in connection with the fatal collision. In the early morning hours of September 5, 2026, a moment that began like any ordinary journey ended in unimaginable heartbreak, leaving a young life forever silenced.
Camere was a passenger in a Chevrolet Impala traveling in Lafayette when it was struck at the intersection of La Rue France and W. Pinhook Road. Authorities said the crash occurred after Hamilton, who was driving a Ford F-150 while fleeing law enforcement, ran a red traffic light and collided with the Impala.
Tragically, Camere suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Two others inside the Impala were seriously injured and taken to a hospital in critical condition, while a passenger in the Ford was also hospitalized.
At only 19 years old, Camere had so much life still waiting to unfold—dreams yet to be reached, memories yet to be made, and tomorrows that will now never come. The suddenness of such a loss is almost impossible to comprehend.
