Lisa Maldonado — Gone Too Soon.
Some losses are impossible to put into words, because no words can truly express the emptiness left behind when a life is taken far too soon. On September 4, 2026, the world became quieter for those who loved Lisa Maldonado, a 33-year-old woman from Garland, Texas, whose life was tragically cut short following a devastating crash on Interstate 30.
In the early hours of that morning, at approximately 3:16 a.m., a terrible collision occurred on the transition ramp from westbound Interstate 30 to northbound Interstate 635. Lisa’s Chevrolet Equinox collided with a Freightliner semi-truck towing a 53-foot trailer. She was rushed to an area hospital, where, despite efforts to save her, she ultimately succumbed to her injuries.
Lisa was only 33. There should have been countless more mornings, more smiles, more conversations, more dreams waiting to unfold. There should have been more birthdays, more celebrations, more ordinary moments that later become treasured memories. Instead, those who knew and loved her are left holding onto the memories she gave them.
Her passing is a heartbreaking reminder of how fragile life can be and how suddenly everything can change. Behind every headline is a human being—a daughter, a friend, a loved one, and a life filled with hopes and possibilities.
May Lisa’s memory remain a light in the hearts of everyone who knew her. May the love she shared continue to live on through those she left behind.
Rest peacefully, Lisa Maldonado. Your time here was far too short, but your memory will never be forgotten. 🕊️💔
