In Loving Memory of Pascual Baltazar-Pascual, A Life Remembered After a Tragic Bartholomew County Crash.
With profound sadness, we remember Pascual Baltazar-Pascual, 42, of Seymour, Indiana, who tragically lost his life following a devastating two-vehicle collision in southern Bartholomew County on August 20, 2026. His passing has left family, friends, and loved ones mourning a life taken far too soon.
The crash occurred shortly before 7:30 a.m. on State Road 11 near County Road 800 South. According to the Indiana State Police, a northbound 2009 Pontiac G6 crossed the centerline and collided nearly head-on with a southbound 2020 Hyundai Sonata carrying Baltazar-Pascual and others. The impact caused both vehicles to leave the roadway.
Sadly, Baltazar-Pascual, who was seated in the front passenger seat of the Hyundai, suffered fatal injuries. He was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Bartholomew County Coroner’s Office. His family has been notified, as they now face the heartbreaking task of saying goodbye to someone deeply loved.
As the investigation continues, our thoughts remain with Pascual Baltazar-Pascual’s family, friends, and everyone who knew him. No words can fully ease the pain of such an unexpected loss, but the memories he created and the love he shared will remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
