In Loving Memory of Asher, A Young Life Remembered With Love and Heartbreak.
With profound sadness, we remember 7-year-old Asher, whose life has come to a heartbreaking end after authorities confirmed that the young boy was found dead less than two blocks from his home in Tulsa. His family has been notified, and a community that had hoped and prayed for his safe return is now mourning the devastating loss of a precious child.
Asher had been reported missing after Tulsa Police said he was last seen around 2 p.m. Thursday at his home near 45th Street North and North Delaware Avenue. Authorities had shared information about his disappearance and asked the public to remain alert and help bring him home safely. Sadly, those hopes ended with the tragic discovery of his body so close to where he lived.
Asher was described as nonverbal and autistic. Though his time on earth was far too short, his life mattered deeply to his family and everyone who cared about his safe return. The grief now facing his loved ones is unimaginable, and our hearts go out to them during this incredibly painful time.
