Lomax, A Beloved Father, Best Friend, and Light That Will Never Fade. 🕊️💔

With hearts shattered beyond words, we remember David Lomax of Linden, Tennessee, a beloved father, best friend, role model, and guiding light whose presence meant more than words could ever express. On Sunday, September 6, 2026, at 2:30 p.m., David gained his wings, leaving behind a lifetime of love, memories, and countless hearts forever changed by his passing.

David was a fighter. After being diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma with Amyloidosis, he fought courageously for himself and for the people he loved, eventually reaching remission. Even when this past year brought difficult days, he continued trying to become stronger and better, holding on to every precious moment he could share with his family.

On Friday, tragedy struck when David suffered a medical emergency while driving, resulting in a crash. Courageous first responders performed CPR, bringing him back seven times before he reached Skyline Hospital in Nashville. Though every possible effort was made, the brain injury he suffered was ultimately fatal. With unimaginable heartbreak, his family was faced with the most difficult decision of their lives and chose to let him go peacefully.

Today, David is no longer suffering. He is free from pain, reunited with loved ones and old friends who passed before him, and surrounded by the peace he deserves.

His laughter, kindness, wisdom, and love will remain woven into the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him. Though his chair may be empty and his voice may be silent, his love will never leave.

Rest peacefully, David. Your earthly journey has ended, but your memory will live forever. 🕊️🤍

Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever remembered.
