Carolyn was reported missing on August 23 after she went out for a morning walk near Foundry Road in Loudoun County, Virginia, and did not return home. For weeks, loved ones and the community held onto hope that she would be found safe. Sadly, that hope gave way to heartbreaking grief when authorities reported that Carolyn was found deceased Sunday in the Purcellville area.
Behind every missing-person alert is a family waiting, praying, remembering, and hoping for the sound of a familiar voice or the sight of a beloved face. Carolyn was more than a name in a report—she was a mother, grandmother, friend, neighbor, and cherished member of a community, with a lifetime of memories woven into the hearts of others.
