Jay was the sweetest boy with the biggest heart. He had a way of touching every person he encountered, often without even realizing the impact he was making. He was the kind of person who would always stay behind if someone stopped to tie their shoe. That simple act said everything about him—he cared. He noticed people. He never wanted anyone to be left behind.

And then there was his famous, “Sorry, Trin,” repeated countless times, even when he had done absolutely nothing wrong. Those little moments that once seemed ordinary are now the memories that will be held onto forever.

Donald was transported to CHI Health Good Samaritan in Kearney, where, despite efforts to save him, he sadly passed away from his injuries.

Seventy-six years of memories, moments, laughter, love, and stories are far too precious to be measured by the final moments of a life. Donald was more than a name in a heartbreaking report—he was a person who mattered, a cherished presence whose life touched others in ways that can never truly be erased.
