Douglas A. Wilkins, 31, is being remembered after a tragic motorcycle crash near Tuscumbia, Alabama, brought his life to an unexpected end on Saturday.
According to authorities, Wilkins was traveling on Frankfort Road at approximately 5 a.m. while riding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. For reasons still under investigation, the motorcycle left the roadway and went down an embankment. Wilkins was thrown from the motorcycle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
