Cody Cudd, A Life Remembered, A Heart Forever Missed. 🕊️💔
Cody Cudd, 32, of Boyd, Texas, is being remembered with profound sorrow after his life was tragically taken following a devastating three-vehicle crash on FM-51 near County Road 4797 on Saturday evening, September 5, 2026. At approximately 9:42 p.m., an ordinary night became a heartbreaking moment that forever changed the lives of those who loved him.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Cody was driving a Toyota Camry that had stopped in the northbound lane to make a left turn when a Chevrolet Silverado struck the Camry from behind. The force of the collision sent the Silverado into the southbound lane, where it struck a Chrysler Pacifica.
Cody was transported to Medical City Decatur with serious injuries. Sadly, despite the efforts of those who responded, he later succumbed to his injuries.
Today, we choose to remember Cody for more than the tragedy that ended his journey. We remember the life behind the name—the moments shared, the memories created, the laughter that once filled the days, and the people whose lives were made brighter simply because he was part of them.
