A Life Remembered With Love.

With heavy hearts and profound sadness, family, friends, and the Nicholasville community are mourning the heartbreaking loss of 66-year-old Mark Fritz, whose life came to a tragic end following an incident at Lake Cumberland.

According to the Clinton County Coroner’s Office, Mark was found deceased around 5:45 a.m. Sunday, August 30, after falling into the lake Saturday night. His body was later found near Grider Hill Marina, leaving those who knew and loved him struggling to come to terms with the devastating news.

At 66 years old, Mark had spent decades creating memories, sharing moments, and touching the lives of the people around him. While the circumstances surrounding his passing are deeply painful, they cannot erase the life he lived or the memories he leaves behind.

The loss of someone we love is never easy. There are no perfect words to fill the emptiness left behind, and no amount of time can immediately ease the pain of saying goodbye. Yet, in the days ahead, may Mark’s family and friends find comfort in remembering the laughter, kindness, conversations, and special moments they shared with him.

Today, we remember Mark not simply for the tragedy that took his life, but for the person he was and the memories that will continue to live in the hearts of those who knew him.

May his loved ones find strength in one another during this difficult time. May every cherished memory bring comfort when the grief feels overwhelming.

Rest peacefully, Mark Fritz. You will be remembered, you will be missed, and you will never be forgotten. 🕊️💙

Please keep Mark’s family, friends, and everyone grieving this heartbreaking loss in your thoughts and prayers.
