With hearts filled with sorrow, we remember Latrell Trumble, 22, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, whose life was tragically cut short on Saturday afternoon, August 29, 2026. Latrell’s passing has left behind a painful silence that words can hardly describe, as family, friends, and loved ones struggle to understand a loss that came far too soon.
Latrell was taken to a local hospital after suffering a gunshot wound during the tragic incident at the Renaissance Gateway Apartments. Despite efforts to save him, he sadly passed away, leaving those who knew and loved him facing the heartbreaking reality of his absence.
At just 22 years old, Latrell had so much life still ahead of him—more memories to create, more dreams to pursue, more moments to share, and more people to love. A life should never have to end before its story has had the chance to fully unfold.
