In Loving Memory of Keenum Dawson, Remembering a Life Lost Too Soon.
With profound sadness, family, friends, and the Lauderdale County community are mourning the loss of Keenum Dawson, who tragically passed away following an early Friday morning accident on Shiloh-Vimville Road.
The fatal crash occurred in the 4800 block of Shiloh-Vimville Road shortly before 2 a.m. Emergency responders, including the Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office, Southeast Volunteer Fire Department, and Metro Ambulance, were called to the scene. A Ford F-250 was involved in the accident, and despite the response of emergency crews, Dawson succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash at the scene. The Meridian Fire Department Rescue Team was also requested to assist those working at the location.
While the circumstances surrounding the accident remain under investigation, the loss of Keenum Dawson has left a painful void for everyone who knew and cared about him. A life that held memories, relationships, hopes, and dreams was suddenly taken, leaving loved ones to face the difficult days ahead without his presence.
