The Reno community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Marco Coronado, a beloved son, brother, best friend, and cherished member of his family and circle of friends. Marco was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident involving a vehicle on Military Road, leaving those who knew and loved him struggling to understand a loss that came far too soon.
Remembered as one of the kindest souls, Marco was someone people could always count on. He was dependable, goal-oriented, and passionate about encouraging his friends to pursue their dreams and work toward meaningful goals. Those close to him say he was building a beautiful life for himself and had so much more ahead of him.
Marco had an adventurous spirit and found joy in snowboarding, dirt bikes, and street bikes. Snowboarding gave him an opportunity to escape into nature, and despite the challenges and physical demands of the sport, he loved every moment. Music was another important part of his life, with a song for nearly every mood and occasion.
Above all, Marco treasured his family. He shared an especially close bond with his mother and loved spending time with his family, including taking his brother out to eat pho. His absence leaves a profound emptiness in the hearts of those who loved him.
As his family prepares to lay him to rest, friends and community members are coming together to offer support. Marco’s memory will live on through the people he encouraged, the family he cherished, and the countless moments that made him unforgettable.
