Louisville, Kentucky, is mourning the heartbreaking loss of 62-year-old Robert Smallwood and 58-year-old Andrea Hill, whose lives were tragically taken following a devastating motorcycle crash near Pleasure Ridge Park on Sunday evening.
Shortly after 6 p.m., at the intersection of Greenbelt Highway and Greenwood Road, a moment that began like any other suddenly became a moment of unimaginable sorrow. Robert and Andrea were traveling together on a motorcycle when they were involved in a collision with a Kia Sorento. The impact threw them from the motorcycle, leaving them critically injured. They were rushed to UofL Hospital, where, despite every effort to save them, both ultimately passed away from their injuries.
Two names. Two lives. Two stories that should have continued for many more years.
Behind Robert’s name was a life filled with memories, relationships, laughter, love, and moments shared with people who will now carry his memory in their hearts. Behind Andrea’s name was a life equally precious, leaving behind memories that can never be replaced.
